Energy efficiency is one of the most important steps toward responsible manufacturing. At our Bolero Socks factory, we use solar energy to support cleaner production and reduce our dependence on conventional energy sources.
With 1,407 solar panels installed on a 3,146 m² roof area, our solar energy system produces 1,000,000 kWh of electricity per year and meets 47% of our annual energy consumption.
This investment helps us minimize electricity consumption, reduce carbon emissions and produce with a cleaner, more responsible approach.
Sustainability begins with the materials we choose. Bolero Socks offers product options made with organic cotton, recycled cotton, bamboo, wool and other carefully selected yarn compositions.
Our organic cotton and recycled sock collections are developed for customers and partners who are looking for more responsible alternatives without compromising comfort, quality or durability.
By working with certified and traceable materials whenever possible, we support a more conscious textile supply chain and help our partners meet the growing demand for sustainable products.
At Bolero Socks, sustainability is not a separate promise from production. It is a responsibility we carry through the way we design, manufacture and deliver socks, legwear and bodywear products for global markets.
As a socks and legwear manufacturer based in Istanbul, Turkey, we believe that quality production should respect both people and the planet. From responsible material choices to renewable energy investments, our goal is to create long-lasting products while reducing the environmental impact of our operations.
